Representing Ward 14 with integrity, experience, and a commitment to every resident.

As an alumnus of St. Thomas More and St. Vincent de Paul schools, Councillor Mike Spadafora grew up right here in Ward 14. It is now that he has been given the opportunity — which he considers a great honour — to bring positive change and represent the residents of Ward 14.
Mike's proudest role is being a husband to his wife Joanna, and father to his three young children Ela Rose, Ava, and Michael Jr. His family has been his greatest inspiration to extend his voice and energy into making Hamilton a better place to raise a family.
Mike has combined two of his greatest passions — community and sports — as the longtime Hamilton Huskies Hockey Club GM and Hamilton Kilty B’s Jr Hockey Club President, volunteering years of support to local hockey associations. He has also been a member of the Hamilton Tiger Cats TigerTown Council since 2019.
Prior to taking office in 2022, Mike held the position of Business Development Manager for PPG-Dulux, managing customers and clients across Ontario. Before that, he owned and operated a contracting company, building homes and working alongside local suppliers, contractors, and homeowners across the area.
Since November 16th, 2022, Mike's days have been full of budget and committee meetings alongside his fellow City of Hamilton Councillors, championing Ward 14 at every level of city governance.
“Communication and community will be an integral part of the success of Ward 14. You are sure to see me at events, fundraisers, and celebrations — and you’re always invited to reach out.”
